The T3 Matrix Bio-Kinetic Ortho-Impact Saddle Pad Inserts for the Matrix Endurance Sport CoolBack Saddle Pad and the Matrix Endurance Sport WoolBack Saddle Pad have been designed using the T³ principles of ergonomic design and advanced technology to create customized back protection for your beloved equine partners.
Matrix inserts are offered separately from their corresponding saddle pad base, allowing riders to switch insert type (see also: Extreme Pro-Impact) to suit different horses and/or different training needs, while still using the same pad base!
Especially beneficial for stabilizing the saddle for riders needing more back support and compensating for horse conformation problems, the Ortho-Impact inserts feature a 3/8" layer of high-density Extreme Pro Poron® XRD™ foam to minimize concussion over a 1/2" layer of medium density viscoelastic foam offering stabilizing support for both horse and rider.

Poron® XRD™ with Microban® antimicrobial protection is high-performance open-cell foam that absorbs 90% of impact energy from the rider and saddle on the horses back, as well as minimizing the energy bounce back as the rider lands in the saddle; thus, allowing for a more stable, comfortable seat for both horse and rider. The supporting layer of medium density viscoelastic foam offers additional cushioning protection without restricting range of motion.
