Second Saturday Saddle Swap – Terms and Conditions.
THESE DETAILS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH NO NOTICE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ALTER OR CANCEL THE EVENT FOR ANY REASON.
Our consignment wait list is now too long to be of practical use for our local equestrian community. So, Laura’s Saddlery has decided to host a monthly saddle swap meet on the second Saturday of every month. Dates for 2024 are: May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, September 14, October 12, November 9 and December 14.
- All types of saddles are welcome, but please only bring saddles.
- There is $0 ‘space fee’ for sellers to drop their saddles off for the swap meet sale.
- There is no limit to the number of saddles you can bring.
- Drop off your saddles Friday or Saturday but all saddles that haven’t sold MUST be picked up during business hours on the Sunday immediately following the swap meet date. Any saddles not picked up within 7-days will be donated to a local charity.
- Please bring a saddle stand and clearly mark it with your name. We do have a limited supply of saddle stands, but we can’t guarantee having one for everyone. So, if you don’t want your saddle sitting on the ground, bring a saddle stand or a towel/blanket to put it on.
- Space in the tent are first-come, first-served.
- Buyers and sellers are welcome to work directly with each other. In those transactions, the shop will not collect any consignment saddle fees. If the buyer is paying by credit card and we ring the sale in our system, Buyer will pay the saddle price + sales tax and Laura’s Saddlery will deduct 10% (minimum $100.00) consignment fee from the payout to the Seller.
- Buyers may bring a horse to test fit saddles before purchasing. Laura’s Saddlery will conduct complimentary saddle fittings for you if you go to the effort of bringing your horse.
- Laura’s Saddlery is not responsible for any type of loss, damage or theft.
